CROESO!
A WARM WELCOME AWAITS YOU AT TALYWERYDD
You can be sure of a warm welcome from owners, Martyn and Kerry Thomas, at their quiet family run caravan park & campsite, Talywerydd.
No matter what you want from your holiday, we believe Talywerydd and the locality have a lot to offer.
Located just under two miles from Penbryn National Trust Beach and the Ceredigion Coastal Path, Talywerydd offers a peaceful rural haven for visitors wishing to get away from it all, escape the stresses of modern-day life, wanting to relax and indulge in the slower and the quieter pursuits that our beautiful part of the Welsh coastline has to offer, such as rambling, fishing, golfing, idyllic beaches to swim or simply sunbathe. There are plenty of gardens to visit , and a bit further afield are the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, which are less than an hour away; a nearby butterfly house, Cardigan Wildlife Park and nearby Cardigan Island Coastal Park.
For the more adventurous amongst you, we have a dry ski slope at the nearby Llangranog Urdd Centre, canoeing, surfing, paintballing, boatrides to watch dolphins...the list goes on!
The site boasts magnificent sea views of Cardigan Bay and the neighbouring rolling countryside of the west Wales coast. Whatever your interests, you can end your day at Talywerydd relaxing in a comfortable deck chair with a glass of your favourite tipple, whilst you simply soak up the ambience and watch one of our amazing sunsets over Cardigan Bay.

As well as Penbryn, nearby beaches also include Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth. New Quay is also only 11 miles along the coast. Nearby market towns (within 8 miles) include Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan.

Dogs are welcome at Talywerydd, but must be kept on a lead at all times, except when in the Dog Exercise Area. We allow maximum of 2 dogs per pitch and do not allow any dangerous breeds - sorry.
Groups by prior arrangement only.

When the site was purchased in January 2009 it was in a sorry state, having been closed and unoccupied for around 8 years. This beautiful park had been all but reclaimed by Mother Nature. However, after much hard work and extensive ground works, the park itself has been transformed. It has truly been a labour of love and now we are waiting for Mother Nature to do her work again, in a positive way this time! Many previous visitors, from years ago, have returned to the park in the hope that it has re-opened! They have been impressed with the work done so far.
The owners intend to continually upgrade the park over the coming years and have varied work planned for the winter and spring months.
