... A peaceful unspoilt coastal location to simply enjoy in itself or to use as a base to explore all that our locality has to offer.
Talywerydd is not a commercial site.
We DO NOT have a clubhouse, swimming pool or amusement arcade. We DO NOT have onsite entertainment, bingo nights, etc... If you are looking for those things, then unfortunately, Talywerydd is not the site for you!
If, however, you are looking for a traditional caravan/camping holiday, making your own family fun under canvas or in a caravan,Talywerydd offers you the facilities you need at an affordable price, all set in a beautiful location.
During the Spring/Summer months Talywerydd's views of the sunset over Cardigan Bay can be truly wonderful!
We have four beaches within a 3 mile walk/drive, three of which have been awarded International Blue Flags, recognising good public facilities, water quality, safety provision and management. We have some idyllic beaches where you can swim, surf or simply relax.
The nearest connection to the Ceredigion Coastal path is only 1 1/4 miles from our gates.
There are plenty of gardens to visit , and a bit further afield are the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, which are less than an hour away, as are Oakwood Theme park and Folly Farm; Cardigan Wildlife Park and Cardigan Island Coastal Park nearby.
For the more adventurous amongst you, we have a dry ski slope at the nearby Llangranog Urdd Centre, Llain Activity Centre,paint-balling, canoeing, surfing, boatrides to watch dolphins...the list goes on!
As well as Penbryn, nearby beaches also include Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth. New Quay is also only 11 miles along the coast. Nearby market towns (within 8 miles) include Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan with Mwnt, Patch and Poppit Sands beaches all nearby.
The bustling university town Aberystwyth is less than an hour's drive away, with it's beautiful promenade to stroll along. Also a cable tram dating from 1896, which takes its passengers to the top of Constitution Hill overlooking Aberystwyth from the North.
